A native Vermonter, Katie has always had a love of the outdoors and connection with nature. Her quest for personal growth and self care tools began in 2005, with a two year study in herbalism and a variety of topics including: aromatherapy, homeopathy, iridology and kinesiology, with Kelley Robie of Horsetail Herbs. She dove deeply into exploring her psyche with Atmo Abram, learning psychology through the lens of astrology and the archetypes. She studied chakra activation techniques with Anodea Judith of Sacred Centers, utilizing bioenergetics and yoga. Katie completed a two year apprenticeship with Sierra McFeeters of Indigenous Roots, who initiated her into the teachings of North and South American shamanic techniques. This included travel to Peru to work with Mary Ann Eddows to gain insight into their history, traditions and practices. Her desire to have a multifaceted knowledge of cross cultural healing techniques attracted her to Reiki and Tibetan sound healing. She earned the Usui Reiki Master certification with Sierra McFeeters and completed her fundamental/advanced and chakra master sound certifications with Kirk Jones of the IASH. These traditional wisdom techniques are shared with the intention of empowering others. Sessions are customized for the individual, incorporating techniques for the highest benefit of the client. She can be contacted at email@example.com or 802-734-1263.
